Bicycle collision causes CHP response to hoist injured rider to an awaiting medic helicopter
This morning, CHP H-30 responded, along with Pacifica Fire, to a report of a bicycle collision on the Mile Trail, near the Pedro Mountain Road Trail. H-30 was the first unit on scene and located the patient.
H-30 landed and configured for a hoist operation. Pacifica Fire prepared the patient for transport and he was successfully hoisted from the scene to an awaiting ground ambulance.
The patient was transported to San Francisco General Hospital.
