Father Jeremiah discusses a couple of the reasons for Jesus ascending into heaven after his resurrection. The Ascension of Jesus is an oft neglected holy day in many churches' calendars. However, it is of utmost importance for us as Christians. It is part of Jesus' redemptive act for us and itself plays a role in the application of that redemption to us!

Father Jeremiah is the rector (full time parish priest) of Grace Anglican Church in Gastonia, NC.
