RULES:
The object of the game is to be the first player to reach any square on your opposite side of the board. Give each player an even number of wall pieces, discard any remainders. Each player starts with their pawn on their corresponding first row middle square. In a two player game, players start at opposite sides.
On your turn, you may either move your pawn 1 square forwards, backwards, left or right; or you may place a wall. Pawns may not move through walls. Walls are placed lengthwise, not height wise, covering two full squares. Walls may not be placed partially covering a square nor partially off the board. Walls must be placed in a way so that each player always has an available path to their opposite side of the board.
You may jump opponent’s pawns, landing on the space behind it. However, if that space is blocked by a wall or pawn, you take the available space of your choice to either the right or left of the jumped pawn. You cannot jump a pawn if a wall separates you.
The first player to reach the other side of the board from their starting square, wins!
