Ys III Wanderers From Ys REVIEW

Ys III Wanderers from Ys was a sequel to Ys Books 1 & 2 and would move the Ys Series into a very different direction. Trying its hand at a new combat system Wanderers from Ys would go on to use a combat system similar to Nintendo’s Zelda II Links adventure and Metroid, using that 2D side Scrolling view. Falcom had tried such things like this before with such games as Faxanadu, Legacy of the Wizard, and Sorcerian. But the style didn’t really work for Ys. Wanderers from Ys would go on to get a remake with Oath In Felghana which is all around a much better game. Lets find out though if this game is worth playing.
