FCSO deputy attempted to rescue a juvenile Gannet who later died

FCSO Deputy Branden Hartley responded to Varn Park on March 9 to help rescue a young Gannet who was found flightless on the beach. Despite the valiant efforts of Deputy Hartley, the wounded bird succumbed to its injuries.
