Word 1
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 3:16-4:11
• Matt. 3:16-4:4 The doctrine of the Trinity, appears here. All three persons of the Trinity are present and active. God the Father speaks; God the Son is baptized; God the Holy Spirit descends on Jesus. Gid gives His approval of Jesus after His baptism. Also we see the first of the three temptations that Jesus faced. The devil's first temptations focused on Jesus' physical needs and desires, having fasted for forty days and he was hungry. Jesus' response took the battle away from the carnal to the spiritual real, where the victory was won.

Word 2
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew Mathew 3:16-4:11
• Matt. 4:5-7 The devil's second temptation focused on possessions and power. God is not our magician in the sky ready to perform on request. In response to Satan's temptations, Jesus said not to put God to a test (Deu_6:16). You may want to ask God to do something to prove his existence or his love for you. Jesus once taught through a parable that people who don't believe what is written in the Bible won't believe even if someone were to come back from the dead to warn them (Luk_16:31)! God wants us to live by faith, not by magic. Don't try to manipulate God by asking for signs.

Word 3
JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew Mathew 3:16-4:11
• Matt. 4:8-11 The devil's third temptation focused on pride. The devil offered the whole world to Jesus if Jesus would only kneel down and worship him. Today the devil offers us the world by trying to entice us with materialism and power. We can resist temptations the same way Jesus did. If you find yourself craving something that the world offers, quote Jesus' words to the devil: "You must worship the LORD your God and serve only him." Did the devil have the power to give Jesus the nations of the world? Didn't God, the Creator of the world, have control over these nations? The devil may have been lying about his implied power, or he may have based his offer on his temporary control and free rein over the earth because of humanity's sinfulness

Father in the name of Jesus, we thank You for the preservation of our children, spouses and family members and pray that they will individually know You and work in the the light of Your word.
Col 1:10
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Daily Protection Covenant Declaration
Father in the name of Jesus, no matter at what points in life that I am tempted, grant me the victory at all times.
John 16:33
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.
For God shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.
They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
I shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet.
Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name.
I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me.

With long life will God satisfy me, and shew me His salvation.
So shall it be for me and my household today and forever, Amen and Amen!

JESUS IS LORD!
