Michigan Senate Republicans squash Democratic effort to vote on gun safety bills

State Senator Rosemary Bayer proposed bringing gun safety bills up for a vote essentially pulling them out of committee where they’ve languished for months. In a party line vote however the effort was squashed by the Republican majority.
