From Addict to Activist | Doc Holladay’s Journey from Addiction to Redemption to Freedom Fighter!
Doc Holladay’s life is nothing if not unique. A full-time optometrist, husband, and father of three, Dr. Holladay has also long been a part of the Nashville music community as a published songwriter, producer, and musician. While striving for success as an eye-doctor by day, and a well-known singer and songwriter by night, he experienced great anxiety along with a crisis of identity rooted in people pleasing. Eventually this led to a double life where a serious addiction to painkillers became the solution to manage his pain.
