March 2022. An order was given to take Mariupol. The "Somalia" battalion, among the main forces, was sent to storm the fortified city. On the outskirts of Mariupol, no one knew what scale of the disaster would unfold in the city in the coming weeks, which of the soldiers would survive, and what tests soldiers and civilians would have to go through.

During two months of heavy fighting, the personnel of the Sparrow assault group cleared house after house, street after street, forcing out the numerically superior enemy to Azovstal. Together with the Somalis, at the forefront of attacks, Maxim Fadeev also went this way.

After spending more than four weeks in the very heat of the assault, he became a witness and chronicler of unique events, dramatic scenes, tragedies and victories, which are reflected in detail in the new film "At the Edge of the Abyss".
