Kevin Durant, a professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets, is one of the most recent celebrities to join the NFT and metaverse realm. On May 19, Durant and his venture capital business Thirty Five Ventures LLC submitted as many as 26 trademark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). On Tuesday, March 24, licenced trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis announced the following via his Twitter account:
