OSHP releases dashcam video of chase following death of Officer Dominic Francis

The Ohio State Highway Patrol released dashcam footage Tuesday showing the pursuit of a stolen Toyota Prius driven by one of the suspects in the death of Bluffton Police Officer Dominic Francis.

Three suspects have been charged in the death of Francis. Zachary Love, 21, of Columbus, Emin Johnson, 20, of Euclid, and Dante Tate, 19, were arrested, according to OSHP.

Francis was hit and killed during a high-speed chase on I-75 in Hancock County last week. He was struck by a fleeing vehicle while trying to deploy stop sticks on I-75 around 2:30 a.m.

All three of the suspect jumped out of the vehicle and ran on foot.

Later that morning, troopers spotted one of the suspects in a stolen Prius and started pursuing him on I-71. The pursuit continued on Route 82 and ended on Chestnut Ridge Road near Route 57 in Elyria.
