"DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF, DAD"- A ONE ACT PLAY - INSPIRED BY THOSE KILLED BY MASS SHOOTERS

The story, all names, characters, in this production are fictitious.

This unscripted One Act Play was inspired by recent event within the last 14 days of May 2022.

Yet, let's now remember, on a yearly basis in this country, 1000s are killed on a yearly basis in democratically controlled cities by illegal firearms. Did those kids say to their Mom or Dad, "Ah Mom/Dad, don't sweat the small stuff?"

12 May 2022 - 3 wounded by a Black Supremacist walked up to Korean Beauty Salon in a racially motivated attack. Arrested just a couple of days later.

14 May 2022 - 10 dead, 3 wounded by a White Supremacist who drove up to Tops Supermarket in Buffalo, NY, streaming the whole attack on Twitch.
After a short standoff with police after putting the gun under his chin, the WS then surrendered to police.

24 May 2022 - 21 dead: 19 children and 2 teachers and 2 police officers were wounded in Uvalde, Texas. An 18 year old Hispanic adult male with a mental disorder killed his grandmother (she luckily survived) before walking into Robb Elementary School and slaughtering children.

Border Patrol Agents then arrived on scene and engaged the barricaded demon and proceed to waste the fucker!

Ladies and gentlemen, if you take anything from this. Take this:
Gun Free Zones have to go. Parents need to fight for their kids safety like you fight against CRT, sexual indoctrination, grooming, and pornography in your child's classrooms.

No gun has ever grown legs and walked into a soft target and killed people.

Do not blame the gun. Blame the person. If they're sane or insane, blame them. They chose to take your child's life. No amount of the current 22,000 gun laws written in the 50 states will stop a shooter walking up to you and killing you. As John from Warrior Poet Society says in Day 1 of his training, "You are easy to kill. The question is, do you want to die that day?"

Ladies and gentlemen, I beg of you to get with your local and state politicians and lobby with them to create laws that protect your children.

Ask yourselves this. "Do you have the constitution to stand guard at a school, armed to the teeth, kitted up ready to go to war, to protect the life of a child?" If you answered yes, no one can stop you from doing it.

TRUTH: KIDS DIE IN SCHOOLS BECAUSE POLITICIANS MAKE THEM SITTING TARGETS! WHY AREN'T SCHOOLS THE HARDEST TARGET? A BAD GUY SHOULD NEVER WANT TO ATTACK A SCHOOL! BAD GUYS DON'T LIKE WHEN AN ATTACK TURNS INTO A GUNFIGHT WITH WELL-TRAINED GUNFIGHTERS.
