RULES:
Layout the board. From the center out, setup with: King and queen with the queen on her matching color, bishops, knights, then rooks. Place pawns on both columns to either side. Directly opposite the board, mirror this setup for Black.

Pieces may not travel into or through the center circle of the board. Pawns move around the board towards their opponent, capturing at the corners while still progressing towards the enemy’s major pieces. Pawns are promoted when they move to any of the enemy’s rear rank starting positions. The en passant rule is allowed like normal.

Diagonal movement travels through the opposite corner of the space the piece entered. Diagonal movement may not bounce off the inside or outside edge of the board. Horizontal and vertical movement continues through the opposite lateral edge of the space the piece entered. You are not allowed to castle. Queens and Rooks, if unobstructed, may move any number of spaces around a ring, however, you are not allowed to make a move that causes a piece to end on the same space where the move started. Knights move the same way they do in normal chess.
