DJI Mini 2 Firmware 01.02.0300 RTH Feature

DJI Mini 2 recently received a new firmware and App update and one of the nicer features (I believe) is the new RTH (Return to Home) mode. You now have yaw and elevation or altitude control while in RTH mode. This is nice because now you could have some videos of interest on your return to home. Also, you could use it to concentrate on the camera or a video shot while letting the drone fly itself. But, be careful using this feature if you change your altitude, as your preset Return-to-Home Altitude is bypassed. It’s a straight line back to your home point, this can be bad if you lower your altitude and there are objects higher than your drone is flying. Kind of like having a co-pilot with blindfolds on. I’m hoping the Mavic Air 2 will be getting this update soon. In the interim I’ll just keep my fingers crossed and enjoy this feature on my Mini 2.
