Known suspect named "Dill Pickle" arrested after he crashed into the deputies K9 vehicle and fled

If you have been following our page for a while then you know who “Dill Pickle” is; for those of you who are new, “Dill Pickle” is 40-year-old Dylan Veith. We featured Dylan as our fugitive on Wanted by Woods, for the first time, in 2017 and then again in 2021. In 2017, he was captured after he crashed into a detective’s vehicle and fled. He eventually wrecked the stolen vehicle and fled on foot only to be captured by K-9 Rambo (retired) a short distance later.

Well, history apparently repeats itself. On Thursday, April 14, 2022, Cpl. Mike Mitchell recognized the driver of a passing pickup truck as Dylan. Knowing Dylan was wanted on felony warrants, Cpl. Mitchell attempted a traffic stop.

K-9 Cpl. Batts came from the opposite direction and activated his lights, at which time Dylan rammed the front of K-9 Cpl. Batts’ vehicle. Dylan then backed up into Cpl. Mitchell’s vehicle, pulled forward and crashed into the back of the K-9 Cpl. Batts’ vehicle, and fled. Dylan crashed his vehicle after a short pursuit, but to avoid being apprehended by K-9 Jax, he followed instructions and was taken into custody.

Along with Dylan’s warrants, he is also being charged with Aggravated Battery on an Officer, Aggravated Fleeing to Elude with Property Damage, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Property Damage, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Habitual DWLSR. He is being held without bond.

Oh, Dylan’s excuse for running was he didn’t know they were “real cops…”
