Giant tortoise entertaining in the silt. Tortoises are terrestrial reptiles of the order Testudines and are solitary animals. Like their distant relatives, tortoises, tortoises protect themselves from predators with their shells. The top of the shell is the tortoise shell and the bottom is the tortoise shell. Tortoises have both endoskeleton and exoskeleton, and their body size varies from a few centimeters to two meters. Tortoises are diurnal and are usually active at dusk.

The tortoise family (Testudinidae) has 11 genera and 40 species (or 42 species). In addition to Oceania and Antarctica, other continents are distributed.
