Earlier in May, a 65-year-old pastor at the New Life Christian Church had admitted before his congregation to committing “adultery” approximately 20 years earlier, asking the congregation for forgiveness. Shortly thereafter, a woman and her husband approached the pastor, with the woman taking the microphone and telling the church that it was more than mere “adultery,” as she was 16-year-old when the pastor took her virginity.
