In a highly physical sport like soccer, lots of injuries are caused by unfortunate accidents that occur beyond one’s imagination. These freak accidents can sometimes be rather serious and require immediate treatment on the field. The most unfortunate ones are where a player gets struck on the leg, foot or even head by a hard hitting ball at close range. Arsenal’s Austrian goalie Zinsberger was involved in a minor freak accident recently where she required immediate attention by the physical trainer.
