Lithuania proposes naval coalition to export grain from Ukraine to counter Russian 'blockade'

Lithuania calling for ‘willing’ countries to join a naval coalition apart from NATO to help escort grain out of Ukraine because of Russian 'blockade'. Russia denies imposing a naval blockage. Instead, they insist Kiev itself has caused logistical problems for shipping by planting mines in its own ports. Besides, if Ukraine can bring in weapons through its rail system, they can use that same system as an alternative means of export. In the meantime, Lithuania acknowledges that a naval coalition would require demining the area and approval from Turkey, who controls the entrance to the Black Sea and could view the escort operation as escalatory.
