When will the Mayor ever learn not to dare us about doing a certain segue? He dared us to come up with a segue that would clock in at over 30 minutes of music, so we called him out on that saying we'd do it and sure enough here it is with the full version of Iron Butterfly's "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" into the Tower of Power's "Knock Yourself Out." These are two prime examples of songs where everyone in the band got to do a solo somewhere in the song and it features the Iron Butterfly drum solo that became the standard all other drummers have riffed off for decades.

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
