BUNHAE #16 Chambered Hand Drill
Sensitivity drill in which we explore the purpose of the "chambered hand" in a pulling motion in seizing an opponent's wrist.
BUNHAE is Korean meaning to dissect, break apart and analyze. The more common term is Bunkai in Japanese.
The study of Bunhae is paramount to fully understanding and learning to apply the movements found in traditional martial arts.
This drill is NOT for fighting, but drills such as this one are to practice utilizing basic techniques in a more functional way for self-defense.
