Dr Mason, in his interview with HVMN podcast, shares how evidence-based medicine uses facts from research to made decisions, while eminence-based medicine simply follows the experts--who often are corrupt or simply out of date. This leads to making wrong and sometimes harmful diagnoses and recommendations. Dr Mason gives a great example of research which honestly reported their results, which found the opposite of their original hypothesis.
