Hey guys welcome back to every day blessings. If you’re new here my name is Nina I’m a homeschooling mom with five kids at home and six kids total. You’re on my channel I talk about all things Homeschool from tots to teens in real life, because God didn’t make me Pinterest perfect – I don’t even pretend to be.

Do you ever wonder how many hours a day someone homeschools? Does homeschool take as long as public school? Should you homeschool for as long as a public school day? How much homeschool is enough homeschool? Should I keep track of homeschool by hours or by days? Should I keep track of homeschool period? What actually counts as homeschooling? Is homeschooling only book learning? Should I schedule in more homeschool activities? Are field trips considered homeschooling?

So Many Questions!!

I decided to track how many hours we spent doing school on a typical day. I was SHOCKED! I assumed that we were doing about four hours of school a day. BOY WAS I WRONG!! We average about 8 hours a day! Not all of if feels like school though. That’s why It didn’t seem like we were doing school so long.
