SOCIAL MEDIA STOCKS ARE CRASHING!!

The stock market got off to a solid start today but guidance after hours from SNAP stock sent social media stocks & the broader S&P cratering. SNAP announced guidance "well below" their already low Q2 expectations and this led to the S&P selling off over 5 points after hours as all the social media stocks like FB, PINS & GOOGL went cratering alongside it. Despite the positive day in the market led by bank stocks & Jamie Dimon, this news is going to put the focus right back on growth and consumer stocks as we get ready for more earnings in the morning. Add that to a Powell speech and more economic data to follow, it is looking like we are going to get a week as volatile as last.

After going over the market recap, I then get into my portfolio and trades for the day. I highlight my trade on RL stock and how I am using both short shares & options to take advantage of the volatility while not getting killed on the premiums. I also did a biotech play on VRCA & I went for some arbitrage on the VMW buyout. ITS GOING TO BE EXCITING SO I HOPE YOU ARE READY! POST YOUR WATCHLIST BELOW AND SEE YOU IN THE MORNING!
