Tetris Effect Connected (PC) - Online Score Attack #1

This week on Random Saturday, I'm introducing a new game to my channel. I've been really curious about this game, and now I finally have the means to play it. I was introduced to this game through Wumbotize's streams, and when my best friend got his new gaming laptop he found it on Xbox Game Pass on PC, so I had to jump in on it too! Welcome to Tetris Effect!

There are many ways to play Tetris in this game, both in Single Player and in Multiplayer, both local and online. The single player content includes the main Journey Mode and a whole group of Effect Modes with different objectives. The multiplayer modes include Zone Battle, Score Attack, and Classic Score Attack (a tribute to Nintendo's NES version of Tetris), as well as a cooperative Connected mode where you team up against AI-controlled raid bosses. This time I'm starting my online multiplayer journey with a little competitive Score Attack where I manage to break the top 5% of the rankings. In this mode, two players compete simultaneously to get the higher score in a game of modern Tetris, with the game getting ever faster with each level. If a player tops out, they're done. If the first player to top out has the lower score, the game's over. If the first player to top out has the higher score, the other player will have two minutes to try to catch up to the score set by the first player. At the end of it all, higher score wins.
