In this episode Dr Patricia shares her hypothesis as to why some women are having a really hard time with hormonal balance affecting everything from fertility to menstrual cycles, menopause and beyond. Dr. Patricia discusses the molecule called lipopolysaccharide or LPS (some aptly refer to these molecules as “Little Pieces of Sh*#t”). This molecule is produced by certain kinds of bacteria that can hang out in our gut. When LPS is leaked into the body it can cause all kinds of issues. We as healthy humans ARE meant to have bacteria inside of our gut, but to NOT have the LPS leak into and float around our bodies. Dr. Patricia discusses the research that backs up her hypothesis in this EYE OPENING podcast.
