Seeming to flatter, feed your ego a little, or touch your heart in some way. And as you get a small hit of energy — YOU then give back - a LOT - through your attention and emotional reaction.

You give freely of your own life energy - and it’s taken freely.

I cannot quite find the words to express how much this is a source of life energy and food to particular types of energy vampires.

And as you become a food source they’ll keep going in small ways, in order to continue to feed from you.

And then you’ll start to wonder why you experience huge malaise, exhaustion, and a deepening almost life-threatening fatigue that just will not seem to pass.
