VLADIMIR Putin's forces have destroyed a Western weapons shipment destined for Ukrainian soldiers in the eastern Donbas region, according to the Russian defense ministry.

Britain is to send to Ukraine armored vehicles able to fire missiles against invading Russian aircraft, Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said on Monday.
