What They Aren't Telling You About Osteoporosis Medication

Many of my patients have come to me for rehabilitation after sustaining a fall and horrific fracture because their bones are so brittle that they shatter like a glass.
When they are put back together in the operating room, typically without my bone protocol, their healing times are significantly longer than normal.
This is a patient's story and a cautionary tale about why you shouldn't be on your bisphosphonates, or osteoporosis medications for too long.
