Owner comforts rescue horse for the last time.

This is one of the hardest parts Of country life. A neighbor of mine called early this morning that one of her horses were down and could I please come help. I grabbed on clothes and took off out the door with everything that I thought might could help this poor horse. We gave her several shots and tried our best to get it up. After working with it for hours we knew the only humane thing to do was let the vet come out and end it suffering. It’s always hard no matter how long or short you
have had the horse in your possession. At least the horse had several weeks of lots of TLC , rolling pastures and all the food it needed. It was just a little bit to late but he was surrounded by love.
