School Board Member Questions Mental Health of Parent

Eric Hylton, President of the school board in Brownsburg, Indiana, responded to a comment from a parent by questioning the parent's mental health.

On social media, Hylton backtracked, claiming he was responding to the student who spoke before the parent. Very few in Brownsburg are buying that excuse.

Hylton has been the subject of discussion before. In addition to serving on the school board, he is a lawyer for the Indiana State Teachers Association. This is considered a serious conflict of interest.
