In Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis has continuously cracked down on the subject of sexual identity or gender orientation being taught to children. With parents growing concerned about the subject matter being found in schools and local libraries, the Governor decided to pass the Parental Rights in Education bill, that was deemed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. While Republicans and doctors warn about the harmful side effects of hormone blockers and surgery, the Philadelphia’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion asked teachers to attend the Trans Wellness Conference, where the New York Post reported, “they were exposed to explicit presentations about kinky sex, masturbation, and adult toys.”

With the topic of transgenderism surrounding children, talk show host Bill Maher, who is known for his liberal views, appeared to have an entirely different perspective when it came to what he claimed was experimenting with children. In the video below, he stated, “It’s okay to ask questions about something that’s very new and involves children. The answer can’t always be that anyone from marginalized communities is automatically right. Trump card, mic drop, end of discussion. Because we’re literally experimenting on children, maybe that’s why Sweden and Finland have stopped giving puberty blockers to kids, because we just don’t know much about the long-term effects. Although common sense should tell you that when you reverse the course of raging hormones, there’s going to be problems. We do know it hinders the development of bone density, which is kind of important if you like having a skeleton. Fertility and the ability to have an orgasm seem also to be effective. This isn’t just a lifestyle decision. It’s medical.”

Using the word of a transgender doctor, Maher added, “Weighing trade-offs is not bigotry. Dr. Erica Anderson is a prominent 71-year-old clinical psychologist who is herself transgender, and who now says I think it’s gone too far. The LA Times summarizes ‘she’s come to believe that some children identifying as trans are falling under the influence of their peers and social media.’ If you attend a small dinner party, of typically very liberal upper-income Angelenos, it is not uncommon to hear parents who each have a trans kid having a conversation about that. What are the odds of that happening in Youngstown, Ohio? If this spike in trans children is all-natural, why is it regional? Either Ohio is shaming them or California is creating them.”

As for the outlandish Trans Wellness Conference, conservative activists Christopher Rufo appeared on Fox News with Tucker Carlson to explain just what was the meaning of the event. Take a look.

Recalling what he saw, Ruffo said, “Other sessions were led by Jamie Joy, who describes themselves as polyamorous, and Lucie Fielding, who identifies as a “non-binary trans femme. The women discussed various ‘kink’ activities, including fetishes involving puppies, spanking, and Mary Poppins. They also suggested using new, trans-friendly language for genitalia, such as ‘front hole’ and ‘back hole.'”
