सभागृहात काही अंध विद्यार्थी (Blind Student)उपस्थित असल्याची माहिती राज ठाकरे (Raj Thackeray) यांना मिळाली होती. भाषणाच्या सुरूवातीलाच त्यांनी हे विद्यार्थी कुठे बसले आहेत, हे पाहिले. त्यानंतर चार विद्यार्थ्यांना थेट व्यासपीठावर घेऊन येण्यास सांगितले. व्यासपीठावर त्यांना पहिल्या रांगेत बसवण्यात आले. राज ठाकरे यांच्या या कृतीचे मनसैनिकांनी टाळ्यांचा गजर करत कौतुक केलं.
