Lemnis Gate is (in my opinion) the first in an entirely new genre of game. It combines a new factor that can be used to modify almost all current PvP content... and it has been done, by in Indie dev team.

I doubt it will become a genre on par with the size and scope of MMORPG's for example, but it will spawn further titles without question that seek to harness a new (but flexible) concept. Innovation like this is AMAZING to see in the games industry.
