Review Bombing is often viewed as a method of expression. While true, that method of expression is often perverted into some sort of hypocritical and inconsistent bludgeon, capable of changing on a whim to a completely opposite group.

While I do believe that there are SOME instances where a review bombing campaign might make a difference, there are far more that server as nothing more than a contradictory sort of catharsis as one side screams and the other condemns.
