Time to get ready for Canada Day! Where to go, what to buy! Here is an overview of what's in stores right now for Canada Day. There are lots of items for Canada Day - T-shirts, Canadian flags, Canadian-themed mugs, pencils, pin wheels, flip flops, towels, hats...Everything red and white!
We scoured the stores (the mall) for you so you don't have to do all the research. Our mission: find the Canada Day stuff!
What we found are some very nice, festive "O Canada!" items at the store -- hoodies, shorts, dresses and more.
There was a preponderance, an array of Canada Day items at Dollarama, of course. Yes, a whole aisle! Traditionally, Dollarama has been a go-to spot for Canada Day decorations, plates, napkins, stickers, flags, socks etc. This year, 2022, we found that indeed the selection was great. (We were not disappointed.)
Old Navy: also solid - there were MANY Canadian-themed choices at this iconic store. A little folding needed to be done by the store employees as clearly the shelves had already been ransacked by eager Canada Day enthusiasts. The Old Navy employees probably couldn't even keep on top of the Canada Day selection - the selection - as you can see by the shelves in this video - has been clearly popular with everyone grabbing their size. Cute, stylish looks for the patriotic Canadian heading into Victoria Day weekend then Canada Day! (the May 2-4 weekend is very special to all Canadians).
Children's Place hits it out of the park with childrens' styles. There were too many to pick! The Canada Day T-shirts, tank tops, dresses, shorts, sun hats were very cool (and adorable). We also found Hudson's Bay store (The Bay) had some items (quality, well-made) - though you had to go hunting a bit for them. It is possible they will be bringing out more items soon.
Urban Kids store had great Canada T-shirts with a tie-dye flair.
Time to get your outfit ready! Bring out what you've got with maple leafs! Canada Day 2022 is right around the corner!
