Upending the Sovereignty of Nation-States: Accusation of a Health Crisis Alone Is Enough for Tedros to Take Action

On January 18th, a woman by the name of Loyce Pace of the HHS sent in to the World Health Organization a set of amendments. Previously, if Director-General Tedros accused a country of having a public health crisis, he could not do anything without the permission of the state involved. These new amendments strip out all four or five mentions of having the right to reject Tedros' measures.

Dr. Peter Breggin: "And they [the new amendments] give Tedros a free hand in mobilizing all the resources at hand that he has to bring to bear on the state that he wants to control, and he can take all these actions within 48 hours over the objections of the state. This is a totally new intervention that really crushes sovereignty of the states."
