Saturday's Children - Screen Guild Theater

Twenty-two-year-old Bobby Halevy falls in love with her fellow employee, Rims Rosson. Rosson is an idealistic dreamer and would-be inventor. Their romance flourishes until Bobby is talked into tricking Rims into marriage.

Saturday's Children is a 1940 American drama film directed by Vincent Sherman and starring John Garfield, Anne Shirley, and Claude Rains. It is a third-time remake of the original Maxwell Anderson play with a previous version released in 1935 under the title Maybe It's Love

Saturday's Children is a 1929 American part-talkie romantic-comedy film directed by Gregory La Cava, and starring Corinne Griffith, Grant Withers, Albert Conti, Alma Tell, Lucien Littlefield. It is based on the 1927 play Saturday's Children by Maxwell Anderson. The film was released by Warner Bros. on March 10, 1929 in silent version and April 14, 1929 in sound version
