No, I didn’t have a seizure, I just shaved half an hour ago (28-September-2021)

I shaved about 30 minutes ago and did not even cut myself shaving. Washed my face real well. So no soap residue.

But I wanted to upload this to show you her natural “Mothering” instinct…

If I have a hypoglycemic seizure, this is what she also does. She uses her hands more on my arms, but this time she just wanted to check my teeth (only thing she did with her hand).

Where I said “NO!”, she gave me a “love nip” on the nose, then she stopped and went back to licking my head (face, ears, neck), it stopped when she hit the tablet’s record button (at least the recording) the continued on my face.

So you sort of have an idea of what she does when I have a seizure, she only is vocal if I am “non-responsive”. But nobody in this building does anything (fire alarm has gone off twice since January and I was the only one that evacuated my apartment here on the third floor).

She started doing this, I could never simulate a seizure (she picks up on cortisol and other stress hormones being emitted from my body when I have a seizure, can’t fake that), but this is perhaps as close as I could record on my own when she decided I guess that I should have not shaved.

When I was shaving, I normally shave in the tub “By Braille” (no mirror, just feel the whiskers on my skin), this time I was shaving at the sink…as I was looking in the mirror I saw a single BLUE EYE as she peeked in the doorway of the bathroom…

She will be 8 months old tomorrow, she is already over 40# (18.14kg), and she will be a year old on 29-January-2022. Still a baby until her second birthday.

Not a bad start for a Service Dog in Training, when she is in her vest and we are at doctor’s appointments like Thursday and Friday of this week she will be very well behaved. She is a bit more willful when she has her vest off and she is technically “off duty”. Not much time out in the community, but when she has been, she has done very well so far. Have only had her since Divine Mercy Sunday, on the Octave of Easter this year.
