Today we are going to learn about run-on sentences and how to fix them. There are three main ways to fix run on sentences. The first is to use a conjunction to join two sentences into one. The second is to separate run-on sentences into two sentences. The third is to turn a run-on sentence into a list type sentence and use a few commas to separate the items. When we are done, you will take a test to fix 6 run on sentences. This will be your sixth lesson for Grade 5 English Language Arts. I want to help you learn that context matters and that is how we can know the subject in imperatives. Grade 5 English grammar doesn't have to be hard. I'll help you.
