First, an update on a few election-related complaints the State Board of Election Commissioners has investigated since early voting began on May 9.

Then, as the stressors and pressures in our world are rising, mental/behavioral health is the focus today with guests Kim Shuler (licensed social worker/CEO of ABIN), Dr. Patty Gibson (ABIN Chief Medical Officer; degree is in psychiatry), and a repeat guest live in my studio: Dr. Ken Corso from Virginia, who is a clinical psychologist/board certified behavior analyst with National Capital Region Behavioral Health and an Air Force veteran of the post-9/11 wars.

We're discussing behavioral health needs in health care settings and how dealing with mental health issues affects our healthcare providers, with a particular focus on Dr. Kent's specialty: suicide awareness "among community members so we can stay aware of those around us who are struggling" and "reach out to help one another."
