My girlfriends hospital bill so far

I talk about the first bill my girlfriend got for her three and a half day hospital stay. This is just the bill for the room and nothing else. Her bill was over eleven thousand dollars just for her room. This does not take in account the doctors bill, or lab work or the ex rays that the doctor had her take. This does not include the ER either. The hospital had her apply for medicaid but they sad that she make $20.00 to much before they take out taxes.
