My Music Problems: Episode 18 - Tunings and the Fretboard

Part of learning the guitar and song writing is knowing the fret board. The thing is there are many tunings too. Theory can help you out though but it's good to memorize each tuning you are in. My guitars are in the progress of being worked on for C standard and D standard/Drop C. I know the fret board in standard and even in a 1/2 down in drop D. I do not think I will have a big problem in learning the fret board in the alternate tunings but it might take some time.
