Global monkeypox outbreak 'unusual' -Canadian health official

Canada's Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam said on Friday (May 20) that it was "unusual" for the world to see this many cases of monkeypox outside of Africa, where the virus is commonly found.
