Dendrochilum species have trailing rhizomes, ovoid to cylindrical pseudobulbs, which are basally surrounded with slender brown or green bracts and which develop from 1 to 2 apical, turgescent and erect leaves, from lanceolate to elliptical, with an enlarged petiole. it gets bigger.
