New $1.5 Million Genoa Pedestrian Bridge 20 May 2022

The new walking bridge had been completed and will have its official opening soon.
26 February 2021 work started on a new pedestrian bridge across the Genoa River.
The timber truss bridge was destroyed by the 2019-20 bushfires
Funded by Council, the new $1.5 million bridge will be 111 metres long, made from steel reinforced concrete, The Design is an overhead steel truss structure that is painted white to mimic the former heritage bridge.
In the background you will see the $370,000 project replacing the old tennis courts with new synthetic tennis courts..
