Near Live update of our Canada goose nest camera. This is wildlife photography of the 'average joe's' at it's finest! Join us for an update of how our mother Canada goose is doing as she is incubating 7 eggs and fending off potential predators and intruders at the same time. I think any bird watchers will enjoy this update for sure. We built this goose nesting platform 3 years ago and this year is the first time they have actually used it! This is on our Southern Illinois farm pond that we can see from our country living home. We have a Reolink Argus eco camera set up on the nesting box platform, as well as our house camera that we capture a lot of fun action on between them both. Watch as the goose pair chases off deer, wood ducks and a heron from the pond that she is nesting on, some of which is really quite humorous! So far she has been incubating the eggs for about 2 weeks and we have calculated her 'first' possible due date as April 14th, 2021 around 8am to 9 am. Of course there are many variables so this is just the 'earliest' possible hatching date, and it could go out roughly a week or so past this date.
