This is staggering, and a big reason why the likes of Microstrategy, Square, and Tesla are pouring billions into bitcoin. They want a hedge against inflation of the US dollar.

But there are 3 other VERY important reasons you might want to use cryptocurrency every day instead of your bank card.

- PRIVACY
Cash is great, but you can’t use it on the internet. And it’s not possible to use your bank card without everything you do being tracked and recorded. Cryptocurrency allows you financial privacy in the digital age.

- CONTROL
When your money is in a bank account, you don’t control it. Someone else decides who can access it, and what the money can be used for. In 2010 banks decided people could no longer donate to wikileaks. In 2013, people in Cyprus woke up to find half the savings in their bank accounts had been seized. Cryptocurrency doesn’t need banks. You can control your own money without getting someone’s permission.

- SAVE MONEY
Websites like purse.io can save you over 30% on every amazon order you make if you pay in crypto bitcoin or bitcoin cash. Many stores offer a premium for crypto. Places like bitrefill.com or anypayinc.com give you crypto back when you spend it.
