Recorded 3/13 - In 2004 the movie Sideways almost killed the Merlot business from one line and has been struggling to gain a large following like its Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir cousins. It's a grape that is grown worldwide, though typically used a a base with other grapes blended in to give it more character. In this tasting we find the varietal across the world and see just how different this wine tastes from various terriors.
