On May 17, the first president of independent Ukraine, Leonid Kravchuk, was said goodbye in Kyiv. Leonid Kuchma, Viktor Yushchenko and Petro Poroshenko came to pay their last respects. Incumbent President Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska also missed this sad event.
